The Principals

It is rare to find two young CEO's with a full depth of experience, - it is more uncommon to find successful executives who guide their firm with family values.

Having virtually grown up in the insurance industry, they learned the insurance business from the bottom up.

Their skills are honed under the principals set forth by their father Michael J. Romeo. Like their father before them - Joe and Mike are community activists.

Professionally, Joe has pioneered the creation of self insurance programs for major firm and trade associations. He has also developed national dividend paying safety group programs.

Joe has been honored by his peers by being elected president of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Suffolk County and elected Chairman of the Continental Ins. Co. Agents Council. He was also appointed as the commercial insurance advisor to NOMMA, a national manufacturing association.

Mike is the technician who designs and rates many programs that cross his desk. Acting as an in-house underwriter, Mike gives us an edge in servicing and quoting a variety of risks. He has gained the respect of insurance company managers who extend to him authorization to quote and bind virtually without restriction. Mike has become especially astute in the area of retrospective and large deductible plans. For these reasons, he has become a valuable asset to the firm.
